God help me.

Do any of you guys play? You know between jam sessions, work, shows, etc...

I made a conscious effort 2 years ago to quit. It extended to all video games. Made my girlfriend very happy when she got my account with 6+ years of rare mounts and loots.

Any time I try to play a video game these days I cant help but feel like I'm wasting time and should rather play guitar.

All that aside, I find this to be a great alternative to WoW

Dammit, someone join an arena team with me haha. I mean I get it, it's a total waste of time. I did it to keep myself out of bars on off nights and my wallet is incredibly happy for it.

I working in gaming and entertainment, and I feel like I should always be playing my guitar...

In vashj right now with a horde side paladin named Eriaeda. Almost lvl 100 but I want to make more characters.

This is weird to say but I always wanted to play.....the last PC game I really got into was War Craft..........II.......and the original Halo was the last console game. I'm not even insanely old. I just never get a large chunk of time where I can start.

I was in deathmetal band and 2 of the other guys were big into WOW. I knew shit was bad when they wrote 2 songs about WOW.

I pretty much fear it and most video games because I quit jobs over Final Fantasy 13 and D and D back in the day. I have an addictive personality for things like WOW...

I run a (casual by my standards, I raided with Fires of Heaven until we went casual, shouldn't have to say more than that to anyone who's played forever) 3 night guild, raid lead, and hate myself more than ever. I have an Immortality mount, etc. I've got more played time than Jesus (but being housebound and sick does that to you).

Area 52, Horde (like there's an alliance anything there).

For those of you starting - if you want to raid, Horde. Horde or go home, there's only two real significant Alliance raiding guilds in the US and it's killed the population.

Conversely, if you want to do high end PVP, Alli or go home.

If you're content with being semi-casual, etc. do what makes you happy - both factions have their idiots and morons despite what /2 says.

I won't post much more than that publicly about who/where I play as I don't want people harassing me and my worlds crossing most of the time but can happily discuss some things via PM.

You fucking nerds and your WOW. My God people have been playing this shit game for like a decade now and it's dumb. Just dumb. I played for about 6 months. It was the most frustrating and time consuming 6 months of my life. One that made me realize that internet gaming was fucking annoying and the people that do it are all 12 year old twats.


If you want a good console game, I've been playing the newest Assassins Creed. It's satisfying, challenging and you can jump off building and slaughter people like cattle. What more could you want?

Really War Craft II is where they should have stops. This new shit is not War Craft. It's a money suck and time suck and there's not strategy involved.
