it's nice to be reminded that racist assholes don't quite make up a majority of the population
pretty ridiculous how some people act towards others in public for no reason whatsoever
i usually shrug at anything with a hashtag but i guess this is a good thing for once

Wish we had done better with this stuff post 9-11
although I do feel like the a-holes are just a loud minority of people.

I worked at a club called "The Middle East" and right after 9/11 we got loads of bomb threats.

yeah this was cool
people have been handing out badges and stickers to make it publicly known, so hopefully it sticks around as long as its needed
and hopefully it isnt needed for much longer

I like the fact that some utterly, disgusting scumbag doing such a despicable act to induce terror completely created the exact opposite result in the public. This effected everyone and everyone has come out of the wood works to offer support.

I really hope similar things catch on here in the States, this is awesome! I don't think the buddy system will work well for our awful, racist, law enforcement but this gives me hope.

I think it is telling that a former penal colony gets things right that a nation founded by religious extremists just can't seem to handle.
