Metal that isn't quantised to shit

Been listening to a lot of metal produced the last few years and I'm so sick of albums being ruined by the drums being quantised so hard that there's no point in having a human behind the kit.
Anyone got any suggestions for metal that isn't quantised to shit?
I listen to plenty of trad metal, and that is kind of part of the aesthetic to go with an 80s type of production, and lofi or punky black is also an aesthetic thing that's part of the genre.
I'm more after stuff that is just good natural production and not a blatant genre choice. The only example I can think of is Beaten to Death. The production is odd as, but really easy to listen to. And I was listening to the non remaster of Meshuggah's Nothing thinking about how much the drums slay the remaster.
Any other suggestions? Is there like a death metal version of Frost playing fast as shit and untriggered? Is there a Gojira doing it pro as fuck?

I also like the stuff Fredrik Thordendal does with Morgan Agren:

you got any music/youtube links for 'beaten to death'?
because typing that as a youtube search is about as depressing and horrifying as you can imagine

On my phone by try copy and paste Dødsfest.
The whole album is fucking genius. Grindy deathy sometimes serious sometimes party metal.

yep that works.
not a fan of that singing style, but you're right about the recording - sounds like a band, recorded in a room, and not plastic surgery photoshopped buttcheeks

There is a band called "The Sleer" that posted on the "post your band" thread. Personally I'm not a fan of screamo, soon as I hear a droning growl I'm done, but "The Sleer" is SO FREAKIN' BEAUTIFULLY MELODIC that it literally stopped my hands from closing the bandcamp window. Very heavy with such a gorgeous melodic presence, it left me stunned. It's not often that ANYTHING metal can be described as "exquisitely beautiful", but they certainly can.

I don't have anything to add right now I'm just posting here so I remember I check all this stuff out later too
Drum quantisation is shit. If you need to do that either find a drummer who can do a passable job without it or just program the drums from the start.
I can usually tolerate the axe fx and stuff and sorta don't mind direct guitar recordings for fidelity's sake but the drums are what always get me.

I'm still finding amazing metal albums from 1990 to 1994, I've been practically studying that particular era for 20+ years now.
New stuff check out Nasheim, Dordeduh, Agalloch, and Enslaved. Great music, great production, great googly moogly!
