got ahold of them this weekend and started going through them

then started sorting out which ones are actually worth paying to have professionally graded, judging by what they have sold for on ebay


and then i happened upon these gems




2 randy johnson topps rookie cards

the biggest sold listing on ebay went for about $580, although that was graded @ a 10, these are somehow both in really realy good shape

they are probably 9.3-9.5 on the scale of 10 condition wise, they are really in nice shape

Turns out it's not worth shit. There are normal topps cards made from their standard stock, an then there are topps "tiffany" cards which are glossier and made from white stock




This is only a thing for Topps cards from 1984-92 or something. I do have a bunch of other cards which are worth a decent amount (George BRett from 1980 is one, there were'nt 2 types of stock used in '80)

But yeah that sucks I thought i had a major score there

Crazy how the tiffany stock ones are $500 and the regular stock ones are... $1. Literally selling on ebay for $1
