I'm a little surprised more people aren't excited by this news. To me, this is far bigger than Star Wars sequels or any of that nonsense. I was a little apprehensive when I first heard, because I'd hate for Lynch to turn Twin Peaks into Inland Empire 2.0 (I found that film unwatchable, a self parody), but with Frost back and with a network to reign him in, I am thinking there's more of a chance that this is really amazing.

So, I should watch Twin Peaks, then?

I think people will get more stoked once the hype spreads.
I wish it was coming out in 2015 instead of 2016.
2016 seems pretty damn far out right now.

I'm excited, love Twin Peaks! Just hearing the theme song brings back such nostalgia for me. I remember watching the pilot episode with my cousins when I was too young to really understand what the fuck was going on (although watching Twin Peaks as an adult I still sometimes get that feeling). It's been a few years since I've watched it now, I'd been planning on rewatching for a while so this is a good reason to actually do it.

Well, yes. I do love me some Lynch. But I haven't really been blown away by anything he's done since Mulholland Drive, and that was 13 years ago. I am going to watch it, but I already had closure/didn't need for there to be more of it.
