Hi everyone. Tim from faceless fx here
Apologies for signing up a while ago and going quiet. I was nervous about participating in a public forum

This place seems to have the best choice of smilies though.
I need a hand in naming a pedal.
It's a fuzz, based on the MkII Tone Bender and it looks like this (clicky bigger):
The man will shrink to make room for the name and control labels. Might keep the labels the same as the Marquis.
Unless that looks silly? I like silly, plus it goes with the Marquis (Mk1 type):
Any ideas for a name?
Joe @ Joe's Pedals has the first one. I believe he's having a hard time at the moment, so he may or may not put it for sale soon.

Hey, FacelessTim, welcome. (Apparently you haven't spent much time on the D*A*M forum. They've got much better smilies over there.

)
Those look great, Tim, as all your pedals do.
As far as a name goes, "Bardic Intensifier" gets my vote.

What no :chinscratchy: ? 'Bardic' is good. Eisteddfod-y.

That photobucket is a temp photo bin, so I rarely use it. I dread to think what's in there.
The black one with sacred geometry vibe? That's a recent build I did for a friend. It's a dual Mk1 type fuzz <-> heavily modded Tonepad 'Ropez' (Ross OTA type) phaser with a billion switchy knobby bits. I like doing silly builds like that.

That sounds like a killer build. Now I want one too.

Hi Duder, cool stuff!
The MKI is my favourite Tone Bender, I'm curious, could you make some clips of the Marquis showing it with low bias and maybe some single note palm muting?
I'd suggest Troubadour as a name for the MKIII.

This inspired me to take a look.
Wow! That Jasmine Boost looks great - not just aesthetically but also in terms of features. And I hate boosts.

Thanks man. I see it more as a tone shaper than a classic Rangemaster type boost.
If you can sit through 21 minutes, I really like the demo JustNick did of it. He got the point of it and I think showed it off very well.

Like a time machine?

Possibly. I'm no guitarist, but I may be able to coerce someone into doing that.
Bias (both Sore and Soar) low make it more gated and splatty. Loses sustain and oomph.

That would be cool man, the one and only demo of it sounds pretty good but they're mostly playing chords.
I understood the Soar control is like the Attack control of the original MKI but what exactly is this Sore control?
Do you do other mods like a bass boost and/or mid boost switch too?
