Death by allergies

Yep, it's that time of year...flowers blooming, wind blowing.....
MY ALLERGIES ARE KILLING ME!!
I can't be the only one, right?

Every night I wake up in the middle of the night with itchy runny nose, itchy eyes, and the worst of all......itchy throat/roof of mouth (the unscratchable itch). I fantasize about scratching my throat with a bottle brush, or a steak knife.
Generic Claratin only barely keeps me alive, and I can't afford anything better.
Might need to trade some fuzz pedals for a bottle of Allegra!

Oh, you're not alone - mine haven't kicked in yet, but I'm just waiting... any minute now... any minute...

Between the Toddler Plagues that my son brings home from daycare in the wintertime, and my own allergies in the summer, I plan on being miserably sniffly for about 50 out of 52 weeks this year.

:whoa:

Nooooo!
Don't tell me you have dreaded itchy mouth/throat.
I hate that worse than anything. It's like torture. Maddening.
I just wanna scratch the roof of my mouth with a fork.
 Ahhhhhggh!!!!

Uh... I'm not a doctor, but I'm not quite sure that's how allergies work...

It helps, depends on if you believe in homeopathy or not. I'm not a doctor either all I know is for pretty much the first year of my life I was in the hospital because I was so sick (something to do with a bunch of bad allergenic reactions and a low immune system), and then my mom finally got fed up and took me to a homeopathic doctor and off vaccinations and I got better :idk: I haven't even had a cold in like 4 years. :yay:

Damn! Well, it's hard to argue with results. And it's definitely true that we don't fully understand how the human body works... nowhere close... the important thing is that you're well!

A swine flu epidemic, with 800 documented illnesses and 68 deaths in Mexico (so far - 4/24/2009) seems to be spreading into California and Texas.

Seems like just another reason for pharmaceutical companies to make more money. Compare how many people in America died because of this pandemic to how many die every year from pharmaceutical accidents. :poke:

every thing here has turned a lovely shade of dusty yellow.

I seem to be the only person in a hundred mile radius without allergies
