Just putting this here:
My Drummer is staying next week saturday until the begin of September in Vancouver. If there is anybody interested in jamming with him shoot me a pm. He has no drumset in Vancouver, Loves anything from triphop, Jungle, Funk, Disco to Noise and is a super nice duder. If you wanna hear how he plays, check the analog pattern robots link in my sig.

Yeah I'm in the suburbs of Vancouver. I'd be interested in jamming with your drummer Uni, but I don't have much free time at the moment. My wedding is in less than two weeks now so preparations for that are keeping me a little busy. I also don't have a a drum set he could use, nor do I have access to one that I can think of.

Colin, those are extremely lame excuses. :D

What better way to celebrate your wedding than playing a totally improvised set of music at your reception with someone you just met?

Just add drum kit rental onto you list of wedding expenses. :snax:

(Just kidding, Colin, have a joyous wedding.)

The funny thing is that I actually tried to convince my wife to be to do pretty much just that. :thumb: My best man is a damn good drummer himself, but sadly he hasn't had a kit of his own for a while so I wanted to rent a kit, a good bass amp, and then lug the rest of my gear to the wedding venue so we could jam out after the dinner.

For some reason I got an emphatic no to that idea. :?:

So, what I'm gathering so far from this thread is that people who live near Vancouver are busy, drumless and fearful of big cities.
