The kids are losing their mind.
I saw his blues grass band, Unlce Monk, at a small club awhile back. When I got out of my car I saw this l long haired scrubby homeless looking dude walking around the street looking at the buildings. It took me a minute to realize it was the man himself.

I think Joey will always be my favorite Ramone, but Tommy and Johnny are the ones who held it all together.

Dee Dee was always my favorite, he embodied the punk spirit more so than the others. Joey was willing to do whatever it took just to get a hit, even if it compromised the groups core sound. Johnny was a buisness man and was looking at the bottom line. With Tommy it seemed to me that the band was a stepping stone to other things once they gained a bit of fame.
Sure, Dee Dee was a hot mess and put out a horrible rap album, but he gave the world some of the best punk tunes ever written (Chinese Rocks being a prime example).

This is true. (Although, you may not be familiar with his career as a rapper.)
Not sure I completely agree with your assessment of the others.
