Self explanatory duders. Cool music shops? Delicious food? Concert venues? Abandoned buildings? Art?
I also have my bike, so that opens up some fun possibilities yeah?
Not sure who is in the area but I'd love to meet up with anyone for a drink if you're down.

If you are hanging around for awhile, Heavy Mtl is just around the corner....
The biggest jazz fest in the world is happening right now. I think Coeur de Pirate is playing tonight.
If your go check out the scene there is a ton of free music and good times.

Food:
Portugalia. On Rue Rachel. Best chicken you'll ever eat. And they've got Canadian coca cola - not as good as Mexican, but still superior to the American garbage.
Columbe. On Duluth, iirc. Lots of restaurants on that stretch but this is one of if not the best. Probably need a reservation. Byob.
Vietnamese food in china town. Pho Bang is probably my favorite spot.
Hit sai thong if you're with a lady that likes shopping.
Atom Heart for records.
Hit the row of guitar shops just outside of the old city.

And I'm not one to rave about poutine, but in general MTL has the second best French fries on the continent.

Moog Audio is cool. I like the one in Toronto better, but hey that's just me.
Get some poutine. I forget the name but there's one awesome places that serves a million variants and is open all night for students. It was killer.
There are some killer microbrews around.
http://www.dieuduciel.com/ is fucking great. But there's good beer everywhere there.
I actually really enjoyed Old Montreal when I went down there with my wife. We had a great time despite the touristy nature and the food was killer.
I went to one awesome record store with a great selection of noise, power electronics and weird psych and jazz records there. I spent way too much money. I forget what it's called.
I saw Dying Fetus and Vader there in 1998. If you have a time machine I suggest you go there. I also saw The Street Troopers around the same time and that was an awesome show. Montreal skins are hella fun.
I would also find out where the guys in Voivod live and go hang out with them because they are the best band in the universe.

Dieu du Ciel is an awesome suggestion... it's my favorite microbrew.

I think you're talking about La Banquise.

I had some poutine at Patati Patata yesterday that was delicious. Gonna have some smoked poutine later today at the midway point of mah 30km bike ride around the islands. Definitely wanna hit up Moog Audio and maybe Atom Heart.
I had some Dieu du Ciel last night that was a bit too overbearing for my taste. Enjoyed the St Ambroise Scotch Ale much more.
Im not sure about hookera but I kinda wanna drag the lady friend into a sexotheque
Andrew Bird and Deltron are playing Sunday but I have to leave before they play
