Well unfortunately the only place that sells them is Sound Pure.

Yeah that's some poor packaging for something so expensive and fragile. I'm assuming it made it to you undamaged and fully functional though? More importantly, how does it sound!?

Not even newspaper? Sheesh.
Yeah you know you're gonna have to do an A/B of that and the Lafayette you picked up, right?

The Lafyette should be here tomorrow. I can do the A/B right now though. The Spaghetti Western sounds amazing, the Lafyette sounds like crap (in an amazing way).

I hope you let them know you were displeased with the packing job and they are on the hook if you have any problems with it.

Yes, I ripped them a new one on the phone. Here is an email the manager sent me after he told me that any problems would be covered by their 3 year warranty if I ran into any issues down the road.
"Hi Nora,
Thanks for the conversation, I am sorry the item wasn't packed to your liking. Give the unit a try, and let me know what you think about it, and if you hear it, and want to keep it we can work out something to make sure you are taken care of. I am not sure what to offer as an extra warranty on it against defects, but rest assured that taking care of the customer is my main concern. I will check on boxing/shipping techniques after taking a look at the photos.
First things first, let me know if you like the unit, and we will go from there."

I believe that's officially the FUB, or "fuck you buddy" deluxe shipping package.

They actually discounted it to me for $929. Maybe they only include bubble wrap if you pay full price?
