NICE.
(That counts as a sentence? Your band's name followed by a period? Hope the PR dude's not charging by the sentence.)

lol. so far he's been following the schedule he laid out before we decided to work with him. someone else wrote that not him..... but yeah. the whole Repeat This Chunk Of Words I Give You thing makes me.... uncomfortable. this is the first one that comes off as a reaction to hearing a song pushed at them, instead of copy pasta'ing some sheet stuff.

Yeah, I'd guessed that the review wrote that, but you never know.
The PR dude might be charging you guys for the number of sentences he's able to get into print.
Either way, it's good you're getting the results you're looking for.

lol. well.... i'll say we're... headed down the road of being happy with the results? i'm reserving judgement till we're done with the whole process i guess?
murrrr the whole thing is odd though. because while i recognize how this type of thing can be very helpful possibly.... there's a huge part of me that wants to gag violently and crotch spew at the idea of paying someone to tell people HOW FUCKING AWESOME i/we am/are.

We got a really nice writeup in a local magazine by total chance. The guy who put out our album doesn't even know where they found out about us. Nonetheless, it resulted in the most fun interview experience I've had (though I sound like a total spaz):

quite often giving folks a prompt isn't necessarily a bad thing, after all you know your music and where it's coming from better than anyone else. that being said, getting an outsider perspective is always nice, especially when it is positive. we send out a press release and it gets copy and pasted a lot which is what we want for the most part.

lol. i'm cool with them copy pasta'ing stuff from our one sheet i guess. i DO like to hear what people honestly think, but i dunno if that's a Thing People Do.
...... the first version of One Sheet Shtuff dooder submitted, lots of good stuff. only minor things i wanted worded differently or some phrases i'd prefer to avoid.
except the first thing i wrote in my response to the draft was PLEASE DO NOT EVER REFERENCE OR COMPARE US/ME TO PRIMUS THANK YOU THAT WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED ALL CAPS BECAUSE SERIOUS. BIDNESS. THANK YOU.
or something like that.

.......... sigh. i know. i guess it's just WHEN I'M PAYING SOMEONE, i don't want that?
not to hate on Primus. loved them as a kid. and Les Claypool is awesome and about 3 kabillion times the bass player i'll ever be. i just think i sound nothing like him at all. so at shows, i know it's meant as a compliment. with music peoples, it's a bit weird.
