To help me pick a name...
So I really wanna start sellin some pedals of my own.. Start small right? Well I got a design but I need a badass name..
I was thnking mangled mariachi. But then I joined ilfc and saw metal mar. And mangled is Devi's thing so that struck out on two levels.
Here's what I got so far...
Sunback effects (sunback.. According to urban dictionary. Is a derrigatory term (think n-word) for a Martian

)
Sunback sounds
Pedal pusher effects
Daytime ugly designs
That's about all I got....
All helps, comments are approviated

I like Pedal Pushers. Playing on the product you supply can make you easy to remember and stand out among all the "insert common guy's name here" effects builders. Just off the top of my head:
SIDE effects
SQUEAKY pedals
SURROUND sounds
The alliteration of the letter "s" is merely coincidental, maybe I'd name my fx company with an "s." I dunno...
What kind of effects are you building? What sort of image do you wish to put forth? Are you going to be a nutty mad scientist like Devi, or a more refined pedal maker who holds his tea with his pinky sticking out, like Fulltone, or Wampler? A name can go a long way in crafting this image.
Cheers!

I'd love to see some pics or hear a clip!
I like Sunback, which just sounds cool.
My only concern is that it'll make people think of actual derogatory racial terms and then associate them with your brand.

There's a little thread over in DIY titled The beast or something.. That's my first creation..
I'd throw I'm a likeroosie but alas my iPod won't let me..
As for what type I think I wanna be a nutty tea loving middle finger out kinda builder...

Pedal Pushers Productions brings up visions of foot fetish videos or very tacky '50 womens pants.
either way you may be able to land a Quentin Tarantino endorsement.
I like Sunback.
