I'm heading to Italy next month, with a final stop in Paris before we fly back to Sydney. My travel-loving wife has made all the arrangements so I'm not up on all the details, but of the major cities I know we'll be in Rome, Florence, Milan and Genoa at some point. My mother is Italian, born in the Abruzzi region, near where the Jen factory was in Pescara, so I always love spending time there.
But I'd love to know where all the good gear shops are - anywhere I can pass an hour or so looking at old guitars, amps and pedals. Somewhere with a room full of NOS Jen Tonebenders and Cry Baby wahs would be pretty much perfect, but I'll take what I can get. Not really looking for anything in particular but if I find a nice old wah or anything else I can throw in a suitcase there's a fair chance it'll be coming home with me.
Same for Paris - where can I find stuff? Love Paris and I know about the "Music Village" around Rue de Douai but don't know much else.
Any tips you can throw my way will be appreciated.

I can't offer any help, Horsey, but I can offer wishes of good hunting (and overall fun).
