For someone who doesn't lucid dream nearly enough, this is great news.

I've had a couple lucid dreams but mostly I just wake up as soon as I realize I'm dreaming. Occasionally I'll have a semi-lucid dream (not sure if that's a real term) where I don't quite realize I'm dreaming, but I still have control over what's going on. Typically these dreams end up being sci fi adventures or natural disaster type dreams. Lots of tsunamis/floods in my dreams.

I wish the idea of constantly electrocuting my brain while I sleep wasn't so worrisome.

That describes my almost nightly dreams. In fact, I have those dreams so often that in them I usually am quite cool under the pressure of a world-ending flood accompanied by strange monsters on the airship we're escaping on. If only I could be more lucid. At best, I simply have a feeling in the back of my mind that I'm dreaming, so it's more like watching a movie through my own eyes. If you have any tips for these scenarios let me know :thumb:

There're techniques you can use to improve the lucidity of your dreams.

I can already see the Professor Farnsworth style introduction to a lucid dreaming device.

"Good news, everyone! I've created a device that allows you to control your dreams."

"You mean like Inception?"

"SHUT UP FRY, LET ME FINISH. Yes, as I was saying, this device allows you to control your dreams, much like the movie Inception."
