The only problem with this though is that Cruise has enough money to finance his own films.

mmmm…. I thought it was ok, but when I saw it I wasn't in the mood for what is was so I need to give it another chance.

fair enough…I had mentally filed it next to Troll Hunter… Granted, I have next to zero standards. Even though I know what a good film is, I will literally watch almost anything if I am amused by it's premise.

Blacklisting him is a bit extreme, he has his niche.
Let him keep remaking chick flicks like Risky Business and Jerry McGuire instead of rehashing all the scifi and action/spy films.
He's just not believable as a badass, hero...samurai w/e.
But he totally nailed the "confused homosexual jet pilot"
