So hey,

I sent my Ratking to get some switches replaced and get the thing running at full again. Ryan is super fucking quick about responses and getting stuff back to you btw! Top notch service! Got some cool swag as well! So Ryan sent the pedal back, and like any responsible person used the shipping address on the paypal invoice. Fast forward about a week and a half I place an order to hellomerch (Sargent House's webstore) and immediately panicked because the shipping addy was to my old house. Fire off a quick email to them with the right addy and start to wonder, hmm, I wonder how many other times I have been a dummy. Then it dawned me, my repair job to Ryan! I check the invoice and sure enough, I'm a dumbass. So I got the tracking info from Ryan and called up my post office. After a lecture from and older postal worker about how everyone these days seems to be sending shit the wrong way because they don't bother updating their paypal, he said he'd get someone to pick it up. Three days later it's back in my hands. Pedal works perfectly, and my embarrassment stands.

tl;dr Check your paypal shipping address and make sure it going to the right place! It's a bit of a pain for all parties involved when one dumbass forgets and makes a dumbass mistake.

tl;dr Joe's a dumbass and prolly shouldn't be entrusted with internet privileges.

also, just because you remove an old address from your paypal profile doesn't mean it's gone. they still give me all sorts of old options when checking out with paypal on a retailer website. you really have to pay attention.

That's what happened for me. I had my old address and tried to remove it, but it was the home address for my old debit card. I never updated it because I always used my bank account through paypal.

Only sort of issue I've ever had is forgetting to have something sent via UPS to my house instead of my PO Box. Usually I remember but sometimes when I pay for things when I'm tired I neglect to make sure.
