My wife and I just bought a juicer yesterday. Looking to try this out and add it to my routine. I am not a health nut but I do like to do healthy things. So…what do you like to juice it up with? Special tips? Thanks

only juice organic produce, otherwise? Apple will fix anything. add Spirulina, Hemp Protein, as many "superfoods" as you can...i.e powdered acai berries and goji berries. Dino Kale is delicious with Chard and Collard Greens. Romaine with carrot tastes like chocolate milk. can buy organic carrots by the 25lb and up i think at whole foods or etc. I did a three month juice fast. 90 days of only drinking juiced produce. juiced pineapple is delicious, so is cantelope. and watermellon....mmmm. but fruits are high in sugar so go easy. also best not to mix veggies with fruits. couple stalks of celery and a carrot or two will go a long way towards covering any poor mix you devise. mustard greens.......
also depends on what type of juicer you got. the centrifucal are going to get far less juice compared to a masticating machine

. so keep that in mind when buying produce.
i juice daily so any questions....

Don't do kale. One hundred trillion tons of kale = 34 drops of juice.

Be aware it can and will get very expensive fast.
My ex went through that, raw foods, superfoods, and all sorts of guru crap and the grocery bill literally quadrupled.

Our grocery bill is already pretty high, we do organic on most stuff. We are cool with spending dough on good fuel for the body.
I am liking the tips so far.
I wonder what JWAR has to say about Juicing since is a personal trainer.

dandelion greens are great, so are beet greens. a little bit of actual beet goes a long way. should consider growing wheatgrass and getting one of those cheap suction manual powered wheatgrass juicers. cheap, easy, doesn't take up much space and is delicious and good for your body. same thing with sprouts. just need mason jars, seeds and you're on your way

.....don't juice sprouts

I want a juicer so bad, but have no idea what kind to get. Every one that I look at is the worst and the best at the exact same time.
