I love no F holes. my 135 has F holes and at full volume the air pushing through those things make me think its gonna implode explode into a splinter black hole.

it has dirty fingers + pups in its good but not over the top yet. alnico warpig is gonna be its replacement.

Semi Hollows rule! They react to volume so amazingly. Some might require a volume pedal addition to your board, so you can control feedback during quieter parts. Both the guitars I bring to gigs are semi hollows and the sg12 I am building will be a semi semi hollow. basically the top side of it will be semi hollow and the bottom will be solid aside from the control cavity. I'm hoping the weight will make it balance better and the hollow area will give it that reaction to the amps I dig.

Oh wow, I really love those studio ES-335 and ES-339 guitars so much.

In fact, just found a sweet deal on a 339 studio so might pull the trigger on one.

didn't even know these guitars existed...that's sexy...in a good guitar way!
