WINTER SOLSTICE RESOLUTIONS
Posted: Sun Dec 22, 2013 3:47 am
I want to take a quick sec to say that the Winter Solstice is more important to me than New Years, because it's when the days start to get longer, and we get more light, so on and so forth. This, no matter how weird or whatever it may seem, is part of what I'm doing instead of new Years resolutions. I want to thank Tom Dalton and everyone/anyone else who helps to run this crazy place. I know I'm not the biggest poster around here, but you dudes are great, and I know that I'm not alone when I say that I love this forum not only because it's so informative, but because it feels like a great little online community. Myself and many others come here to share stuff we love and to seek someone who will listen when we're having a shitty time, and I think it's great that you guys are all so supportive in both regards.
so since I'm disregarding New Year's eve/day, I'm going to put up my goals and shit here. I'm gonna give the no booze thing another serious try and try to funnel my efforts and energies into creating some awesome art and music, and actually spreading it somehow. Too often I keep it to myself or am just outright lazy and so nothing ever becomes of it. I'm tired of working in retail and grocery stores, and the longer I do it, the more I see the older people who work there and fear that I'm going to be another version of them some day. I turned 30 this past year, and while I don't think of that as "old" (I hardly ever think about my age, really) I do think it's time that I should be doing something I give a shit about.
Feel free to leave any thoughts or your own resolution-things here!
Cheers, fuzzbreauxdoodes. You guys are the best!
