Bedroom Humidifiers For Winter

Hello friends.
It's funny that ILF always comes to mind first when I'm thinking along the lines of consumer reports.
ANYWAY.
I've had a few different humidifiers over the past few years for my studio apartment, but now I'm living in a bigger apartment and I have a bedroom. So I'm looking at smaller/personal/bedroom humidifiers and I'm wondering if you folks have any recommendations.
I hate having to deal with filters, but I've also read that without filters, you have to deal with the "white dust" or calcium dust that settles on your stuff. I'm weary of this because my bedroom doubles as my recording haven and I don't want my precious old school analog gear getting a bunch of shit all over it.
Apparently AIR O SWISS makes some good ultrasonic humidifiers that don't give out too much calcium dust. I don't know if those are just an ultra-modern SIGG Bottle equivalent of humidifiers or something but they look pretty good. Otherwise I may just go back to Honeywell and deal with the filters.
THANKS!
