Yes, it does.

OK, in that case, I'll contribute productively to this thread.

If I get out of line, please, let me know.

OK, space6oy, in light of your recent comments regarding one of my favourite bands, I've reconsidered and have nothing more to contribute to this thread.

jeesh man meant no offense, i just only know them from their breakthrough hit. aside from the sitar there's nothing similar in their styles though...

I was just kidding.

How similar do you want though, because I was gonna fill up your thread with sitar music?

So, you're looking for something closer to that vibe?

Because I like these Cornershop tracks too:

yeah, was hoping to find some other tunes close to that vibe, especially if a sitar is involved.
guess i should've said that the other "oldie" (just stuff i listened to like a decade ago) also involves early groove armada...

no sitar but i  this track, & most of the album it came from...

OK, so, you're looking for groove oriented electronica which may or may not include sitar, eh?

I've got this, which doesn't have any sitar, but has Hope Sandoval, which more than makes up for it:

:idk:

Not electronic, but sitar with some funky beats.

Flower Travellin' Band occasionally tossed in sitar on their singles/b-sides
