I wanna get something like this done, the collar band thing and whatnot

so excluding everything below those flowers, how many hours/sessions might something like this take?

I've only had a few small couple of hour walk in tattoos done so figuring out something like this outta my grasp

Gotta ask the artist, man. They're the ones who set the pace and set the price. Should be cool, though!

Depends on the artist, what the art is exactly, size, and you. Some artists will tattoo as long as you can take it. I'd say it'd probably be line work one day, and color the next, but it's possible to have done in one long sesh.

my artist did my whole chest in two 3ish hour sessions, but he's pretty quick and there wasn't a shitload of detail. I'd guess that you're looking at atleast 6 hours total. Most artists charge, give or take, about $100 an hour.

Man, that reminds me of a dude I saw in a corner store once who had advertisements tattooed all over his arms and shit.
I had some bad feels that day.

For a chest piece like that you're probably looking at 10 hours. It's not very complex and any good artist could get it done in that or under that. That being said, it'll probably take more time than that. LOL

I've had a LOT of tats and it is totally dependant on the artist, what type of machine they use, how heavy of a hand they have, how much that actually give a shit...etc. Do not just go to the first guy you find and say "ok let's go", shop around.

I would also recommend doing a custom piece unless the pic above means something to you. Flash art is NEVER a good idea and is almost always regretted. See almost my entire left arm for details. :)

My right arm looks fucking bad add as does my left hand and leg. All fully custom pieces. Well worth it. Just be careful and do research.
