Get yer beef straight from the steer!
Beef Bender MKII - $100
Raw and dripping with vintage sexy! I used my good old RCA 2N404 transistors that I use in pretty much all of my PNP fuzzes. Only mods are that I changed one resistor to increase the output and used a trimmer to bias Q3. Most people bias these the same as a Fuzz Face but I like to bias mine hotter. I think it sounds more.. uhh.. bendy?
Here's a little clip. Maybe not the greatest clip ever but you get the idea
(Yarr I can't figure out how to embed this video!)

Looking great, man! Tonebenders and Dizzytones always slay on bread board but once they are boxed they are kinda bleh for me. I don't know what happens, it's a real bummer! My old buzz around was fantastic, wish I wouldn't have sold it. Aching for a good buzzaround or a dizzy these days...

Thanks! I made these vero layouts for the MK1.5, MKII, MKIII, and Buzzaround so I've gotten each one to where I think it sounds awesome
The MKIII and Buzzaround both need leakage from Q3 to sound good
If you want we can build up a pair of Buzzarounds together sometime! I can bring all of the components

Yea, I've never measured for leakage. I've got lots of PNP germs from estate sales awhile back some are NOS and a bunch are clipped leads. They are going to waste right now. Maybe we can build up a small batch and make some Christmas fuzzes!
Do you drink beer? My shop is a little balcony room with big windows and a sweet view. Fun to hang out in. Let me know when you want to meet!

I'm game!
I've got a DCA55 (best fuzzmakers tool ever!) so I can definitely help you sort out your stash.
I love beer and that sounds great! How about some weekend where I have a Saturday off?
