How handy are you??? You could open the laptop and push it out, or file tweezers or find smaller ones...

take a needle or pin , heat the tip up with a lighter for about 20 seconds .
push it in the remains of the headphone plug (the part that is stuck in your device) , let it cool for about 30 seconds , then carefully pull it out. fastest and easiest way to get it out.

Dip a pin head in a small amount of superglue then put it in the jack and hold it in place until it dries. Once it's dry pull it out and hope the piece comes with it.
Be careful not to use too much glue or to get it on the sides of the input.

Get a drill and drill and small hole in the broken nub then take the bit and use it to grab hold of it and remove.

lol where were these great suggestions before I took my whole laptop apart?
which didn't help at all.
I'm too pissed now from fitting all the tiny screws back into place to mess with this anymore now. (in fact some of the screws I just gave up on)
but obviously my laptop is still functional.

Drills and super glue are both bad around computers... Maybe you learned a new skill, there still should be some way to get it out...

You could definitely tap and drill it out.....but this does require skill and tools. Where are you located...?
