Imagine you wake up, and all you have is an acoustic guitar.

No pedals.

No amps.

No fuzz.

And you go out to ebay, figuring you'll fix it.

And there's nothing there but acoustic instruments.

So you go to Youtube, and the music world still thinks it's 1948.

So you try to build an amp and a guitar pickup based on some schematics, and they don't work.

And then you realize that you're in Hell.

THE ENDS.

More like a tragedy of epic proportions. Sometimes I wonder what Russia would be like if that disaster never happened.

I love my Mig, but now that I've taken it to bits to fix the inconsistencies, I've realised what a stupidly mammoth task I've undertaken. Everything about it is an inconsistency. Its a fucking TARDIS of volume.

Sovtek. That's a horror story right there....
A sweet loud (or fuzzy) catastrophe.

At least you are saving it from really becoming a horror story. I've heard that the bypass switch on Sovtek Muffs are prone to prematurely fail. Mine was fine though, but I only had it for a year or so.

i love the one....

husband and wife are out at dinner, babysitter calls and asks if she can cover up the creepy clown statue in the spare room. horrified the husband tells her to get out of the house and call the cops, they DON'T HAVE A CLOWN STATUE.

..... turns out the husband has Alzheimer's.... they do have a clown statue.

PLOT TWIST.

Gonna NSFW this so it doesn't ruin it for anyone...
NSFW: show
I googled the story and luckily it was all just a work of fiction. Well, the guy who wrote it actually worked in a couple caves and used his experience to write a story from it.

It was a pretty good narrative. Seemed like it could have been plausible (to a degree). The scariest part was that it didn't have to be that farfetched. That's what makes a scary story feel more real. Knowing it was supposed to be scary made me give it a bit more tension than it might have read otherwise. Not knowing how it would end also made it more mysterious.

And that last motherfucking page not leading to a another page that concludes the story... fucking good move. I hate the author for making me read 10 pages of this, but it made it feel much more realistic that way. If it had ended any other way, I would have been like "bullshit!" and not have felt like looking into it.
Ending it the way it did, that is what hooked me.
I don't even know why I looked in this thread. Can't even stand scary stories because it makes me paranoid.
