That was my reaction too! What was he using to pluck the strings though? I couldn't work out if he aas just using his knuckles or if he had a pick sticking out from inbetween his fingers

I couldn't tell properly but it seemed like he was maybe using his nails in some kind of overhand fashion. With that sort of atrophy and body shape that must be a hell of a mission to master up that much control.
