Hey guys, how old is too old to be naked in public?

Saw a child running around the streets wearing nothing, he was with another younger girl and he looked a little too old to be running free. Also, Whats your take on the "I let my kid do whatever the fuck he wants" style of parenting?

Two separate issues.

No comment on the nakidity, but the other is bad parenting.

My sister basically allows my nephew to do whatever the fuck he wants, not because she consciously believes he should, but due to the fact that she's not a strong enough parent to put her foot down. Either way, I'd say it's ultimately bad for the social well being of the child.

one of my kids is three. we let him play in the yard with his bros, but as soon as he gets wet from the hose, or whatever, he strips butt ass nekid.
i dont really care as long as he's in my yard, but i feel like some people on my street would call CPS over that simply because naked 3yr olds will lower their property value

they are separate issues for sure, didnt mean to lump them together. It juts appears as this woman was doing a bit of both. she let her kid run into the neighbors garage and he just started playing with this guys tools right next to his vintage mustang. The whole time she just yakked and yaked to some other mom. also, both kids ran off down the street and refused to stop when the mom tried to get them back. damn near hit by a car too. she had zero control.

One just happened to also be naked haha.

We have a tradition at my alma mater where on the last night of classes every semester, we hold the Naked Bike Ride -- everyone who wants gets naked and starts running/biking laps around one part of campus.

So, never too old.

I think anyone should be allowed to be anywhere naked no matter the age. Were animals. Get naked.

As far as the parenting issue, fuck it. Were all raised differently and its what makes each person unique. I wouldnt allow for my children to do whatever the fuck but thats my call and i have a plan. I believe there is no right way of parenting. Even the parent that beats their child(I know this is a touchy subject) shouldnt have child services involved. Its just what happens And is going to happen regardless. again, were only animals. We are all the outcome of past experiences. Who knows how the child thats allowed to do whatever they want will turn out and ultimately who cares? The idea that I could involve myself in some strangers life and have their child taken makes me sick. Who am I to make that call? How do I know I didnt just damn the child to a worse life. Unless I want to personally care for the kid, I keep out of it. While I may not agree with others choices, unless it directly involves me or someone i care about, I stay out of it.

The problem I see is people who want to care for the kid. Like in the back of a windowless van.

Also, in Vermont you're legally allowed to walk around naked as long as you don't adjust yourself.
