Cell Phone help

so my cell phone is kinda not working right now. sometimes it won't dial, people can't hear me, sometimes really loud white noise. I've had it since high school so it's getting pretty old now. Its an HTC Evo 4G.
So I need a new phone. my provider is Sprint. anyone have any current phones they hate or love on there? I don't really need much. I like having the basic popular apps and being able to surf the web. something with a nice camera would be awesome. battery life is cool, nice screen is cool. don't want something giant

I really like my phone...but it's an HTC Evo 4G on Sprint...
I'd go on Sprint's website, you can do a decent level of comparison pretty easily there.

Plus, in the area, Sprint has pretty dece reception.
Also, on topic, I have had the same phone since freshman year of college...and it's an iPhone. So...ignore me.

Id wait till like November to upgrade. Word on the street is that the next gen stuff is due in October.
But seriously, isn't sprint like $10-20 more a month than like every other carrier?

If you mean ATT and Verizon, it's the opposite.
If you're sticking with Sprint, go for the One or Galaxy S4, unless you hate them, in which case, maybe wait for the Moto X?
No matter when you buy, someone will always say, "but the greatest phone ever is coming out in 2 months!" Don't listen. The tech will be basically the same and you'll barely notice a difference in performance. Besides, there's no guarantee the next hotness will work on Sprint, e.g. the Nexus 4 (the old old hotness).

Good advice. I'm debating between the 5S and the Moto X...going to have see what kind of software/hardware surprises apple unveils
