the other night i missed about an hour
of recording at jams
cause i forgot to press record
if i had a footswitch connected to ipad
that i could set to do different stuff
in different programs
id be campin happier
not just to press the record button
but to trigger samples n shit
ive thought the irig or istomp could maybe do it
but i have no idea how to even start with tha project
anyone have any ideas
or is there somethin out there im missing

also would it be possible at all
to get that istomp to do it
it already has the hardware to connect
what would have to happen to make it work
just theories n stuff
maybe some genius will see this and make it happen
just s were clear
connect to ipad and control different parameters of differe nt apps
audio signal out through 1/4" to go into my board
im dreamin,i know

I'm a little surprised Apogee hasn't done iPad compatibility for the GIO footswitch/interface thing. Maybe they were doing distinctly non-class-compliant things with the connection.

the "COOL" setting indicated by LEDs scares me
but seems like on the right track

It just plugs in via USB and is programmable to be what ever you want... Each pad can have up to 4 (I think) settings for each corner and you can use it to make changes to effects or start and stop or whatever your lil heart desires...

be warned. if it's the size of the keyboard one they do, then it is built for MIDGETS. i had one for about 12 minutes.

i couldn't step on anything without mashing at least 2 or 3 other keys.

awesome idea though. i want one built for Real Grownup Boys.
