Speaking of which, Avatar was good but really overrated.

American Psycho tops the list of most overrated movies, for ending alone.
And SAW as a series? Didn't SEE other than clips via YT. Don't care, either. Completely forgettable.

Maybe other people will disagree but I thought Donnie Darko was overrated. I mean, it was okay at most. But everyone I know thinks it is the best movie ever.

And The Artist was not good. Not just overrated. All hype and a novelty throwback.

2001: A Space Odyssey is at the top of my disappointing movies list.

I kept waiting for there to be, y'know, dialogue, or action, or character development. I can appreciate the cinematography and pioneering special effects and whatnot, but man was that movie too long and too slow-paced.

If you were expecting action I find it hard to believe you'd heard anything about that movie at all.
