Sound City documentary

I couldn't find any threads on here about this. Anyone seen it?
Really enjoyed it and also thought it was quite educational. Loved the bits with Trent Reznor and all the history at the start.
Highly recommended

loved it, especially the Grohl/Homme/Reznor bit
Josh totally slayed that bass (also - semihollow with flatwounds? sounded crazy!)
the film was a bit cheesy at times, but definitely cool

Yup, that was my favourite part too also Grohl, Novoselic and... McCartney?!
And agree that the cheese factor is supremely high but admittedly justified even if I don't like/listen to a lot of the artists featured on it.

I thought the song with reznor homme and grohl was the most boring one on the whole soundtrack.
Which is saying a lot bc I've been very adamant about the fact that homme and reznor are the only two dudes I'd ever go gay for

i loved this documentary. went to see it in the theater. my lady loved it too and she's not near the nerd that i am about recording and shit. it's just an interesting and well done bit and makes the subject matter interesting and accessible to all kinds of people.

^not very considering Reznor only has a part towards the end and Homme has small cameos througout, but Grohl 'is' the movie
