things with my cousin, with whom i'm staying, have come to a head. today he got in my face one time too many and i 911ed his ass. so now he wants me out. if anyone has any good ideas what to do, please help. at this point i'll go anywhere that isn't Chicago. THIS IS SERIOUS AS DEATH. i have nowhere else to go from here, and it ain't gonna last for the 90 days necessary for him to actually evict me, seriously, i really need help. thanks.

Im being totally serious in saying do the van thing if nothing else comes up. Cargo van, rip the back seats out, put down a mattress, load your gear, sell off what you CAN part with, and head for a coastline where the beach showers are free. McDonalds has wifi AND dollar iced teas. It sounds like you could use a vacation anyway. Maybe youll meet someone along the way and theyll offer you a job. Weirder things have happened.

Ive seen cargo vans on craigslist that have generators welded in a cage on the back for construction site use for like $1000. Ford E250 JamVan. Spraypaint it flat black. Then stencil "NO FUCKS" on the side. No shame.

And maui has a lot of these self sustaining communes. And theres a few work for rent(and sometimes +cash too) I saw a treehouse that was availble for work trade a few months ago..so fucking cool. One giant room with a fucking loft. Shower with solar panels but no electricity but that shits overrated anyway. Maybe check for some work trade on CL

I have a 1986 Suburban which is quite sleepable, at least when the back isn't ful of crap. it costs a mint to run, though...it cost me almost $2000 to get from CA to Chicago. but yeah, the bottom line is that if i can't do anything else i take the truck to Southern California, where it's always warm enough to sleep in a vehicle AND people on bath salts don't try to eat you.

hopefully something will come up though...i've got messages out to several folks i know in various places around the country.

i talked with my cousin at length tonight...both of us really regret that it's gotten to this, but as i said to him quite honestly "this just isn't working for me...i have to do something else." it pretty much sucks for both of us. at this point i just want for this to be over sooner rather than later.

update: i have some potential possibilities in the offing. i also spent a couple of hours talking things out with my cousin, and though the situation isn't salvageable we at least won't be at war. he originally wanted me out on 7/1, but is willing to be a bit flexible. my greatest fear, other than sleeping in the gutter, is that i might have to leave Lulu, my cat and the light of my life, behind. i don't want to lose her.
