Those wrist warmer thingys- Where do you get them?

I always see people wearing them, I've only been able to find small ones at sporting goods stores for tennis or whatever. I have some arthritis and the wrist gets freaking sore and it gets harder to play. I think a good wristband/warmer/comprssion wrap would help but I have not been able to find what I'm after aside from ones that have Mettalica or something stupid written on them. help me out?

seriously? Are they worth a shit or just fashion accesories? I'm not looking to look coo, just alleviate some pain. If they are any good I'm willing to brave the mall and hit it up. I'll bring a cattle prod. that should keep me safe.

i wear them when drumming sometimes because of sweating my ass off if the venue's hot. can get them in any sporting goods store or any store that has a sports section.

A wrist warmer or sweatband is way different than something that does some compression. I had tendinitis in my right hand for a while, made picking pretty brutal. I did some stretching exercising ever day for a while, and wore an ACE bandage when I needed to pick instead of pluck, and that pretty well solved it. Try one of those? That way you can go as tight or loose as you need.

Ace might work. I need to have my palm exposed and have the compression going too. Most of the wrist stuff I saw at walgreens went around the thumb and covered the palm. I'd really like to find a neoprene sleeve like you can get for your knee or ankle. My concern with an ace style wrap would be it coming loose mid song. Maybe I'll give it a try this week at practice.

try looking at a shop that sells "medical supplies" rather than a drugstore. they have a broader selection of that kind of thing.

BOOM http://www.amazon.com/GOGO-Thick-Wristb ... B004CD4NOK

I used to get them because the machines at work would bruise/cut the insides of your arms up kinda bad if you didnt have something on there.

I would get these marshal arts wrap things when my carpal tunnel got really bad working with torque wrenches and reaching up under suspension assemblies... http://production.web.mmawarehouse.dema ... 4AodBVEAXQ

Bro, make sure you put safety pins in there. Otherwise people might doubt how scene you are.
