I'm fairly new here too, but AFAIK, The rules here are as follows-
1. Don't be an asshole.
2. Don't post pics of mutilated starfish dicks.

Sometimes a thread blows up and I post 4-5 paragraphs...just pretty much trying to get those two points across.

I was at Haunting Mids, but I got banned. Maybe for never posting, or maybe cause the dude who got me in requested my ban after screwing me over. Not quite sure, but I have all the forum I need.

I was there for a few months, but after I got a feel for the place I requested my profile be deleted. I got a snarky note in reply, but it made me laugh more than anything.
I've never been much for exclusive boys clubs.

that my friend takes work and a open a friendly community, this place at first was very slow... but the difference is no one wanted it to be

I didn't mind the slow-moving bit so much, as I only checked in once and a while...
for me, it was the room full of 4-year old boys, waiting for cookies/hazing mentality that didn't do it for me.
To each their own. At the time, I felt badly - like I'd insulted the friend who invited me - for "uninviting" myself...
