Low E string fretting out

So, I'm loving my Squier Jag, but I have one annoying problem: the low E is fretting out over the length of the neck.
It's fine open, but fretted it's a quick buzz and then, dead. The further up the neck, the worse it gets.
It's equipped with .12s and a Mastery bridge (which is already set pretty high).
Plz halp, setup masters.

Buzz with a Mastery? Geeze

I'm sorry man.
When you hold the string down, can you tell if the buzz is coming from the frets themselves, or the bridge? If it's the frets, they might need a leveling but that's crazy

It's definitely the string hitting the next fret.

Erggh that has to be irritating. Have you tried adjusting the Mastery around on the E string a little bit to see if tweaking it some helps?

sounds like you need to reset the bridge so the height of the saddles matches the neck radius (assuming the saddle height is adjustable).

Is the neck straight enough? Maybe the truss needs tweaked a little.

what fret does it start to buzz at? what fret does it go away at? Is it just the E string? can you take some pics? check the neck with a straight edge?

I'm no expert, but that sounds like a truss rod problem to me.

So I straightened out the truss rod a bit and raised the bridge. Got it to a workable spot.
Thanks for the suggestions.
