Has anyone else seen this yet?

Yeah, crazy shit. Some of the photos on Deadspin show some horrifying amounts of what looks to be blood on the street by where it happened.

Just heard in from my friends and family in Boston. None of them were in that area during the explosions. Both myself and my girlfriend had to work today, so we weren't there either. Some of my girlfriend's friends were supposed to be right there, but changed their plans at some point and ended up being on their way to Cambridge when it happened.

I read one article and saw 10 pictures, and I don't want to hear/see any more of it.
It's sad that any person would want to do this to other people.

It's amazing how many cowardly acts of extreme violence go down now days. Bombings, school and movie theater shootings, etc, etc. Also amazes me that nobody terrorizes DC or the Wall Street crooks. Intstead they turn on school children of family and friends waiting at a marathon finish line to congratulate their loved ones. Truly sick.
Times, they are a changing....

Three close friends of mine were running in the race today. All three of them were very close to the finish line (a half-mile or so) when the bombs went off. It was a very nervous hour or two waiting to hear from all 3 of them. They're all ok. What a fucking day.

ILF member benjuro lives in the Boston area as well. I heard from him today and he's safe and sound which is awesome news! Like many others though, he's still waiting to hear from a number of people that were down near the bombing when it happened....
