after his car accident and coma and partial recovery Chi Cheng has just passed away. i got to meet him a few times, he seemed like a normal, good guy. sad that he died so young.

when he was active with Deftones they were making some of my favorite songs.

he'll be missed and i hope he's at peace now.

That's sad news, I thought he was doing much better. RIP and thanks for the music.

i'm VERY lucky that we played with them a few times. insanely good, super intimidating to play with if they weren't all so nice.

RIP Chi. I saw you guys twice in concert and you blew my mind. One of my favorite bassists out of the modern-ish bands.

Definitely an influence on me. Saw them at Ozzfest in 99,...had it not been an afternoon show on the main stage; it probably would have been better sounding,...but it was cool to see them nonetheless. RIP Chi Cheng.

That sucks! I saw them in 98 and again during Oz Fest. Amazing band and bassist. He's always been one of my main influences in music. I'm sad now. Rest in peace.

Ive been going to see deftones since i was just a little beer and around the fur was brand new. Always felt the love and light in their music and i has a sad that part of that is gone. I will celebrate everything good he gave the world.

Love this band and Chi's playing. Love and peace to his family.
