EU / Non-USA BST?

Just thinking out loud here, but is there any merit in having an EU/Non-USA BST forum?

With USPS seemingly intent on destroying itself and/or buttfucking international buyers out of ridiculous amounts of money, decent deals are now even harder to find for us who are not in the US. A bst forum for those of us in Europe, and the rest of the world, would make it easier for us to find stuff where we won't be subjected to extortionate shipping fees, and most likely further customs charges as a result.

Just putting the idea out there for discussion, i can certainly see pros and cons with having one but just interested to see what others would think.

most people have their location in their profile, so I don't mind looking at the items that interest me and judging the location accordingly.

It wouldn't be difficult for EU folk to just put "EU" in the thread title either. if enough EU sellers start doing it it'll catch on and they can more easily attract local buyers accordingly.

i'm in canada and get the half shaft on usps pricing. it's not too bad, but lets not pretend that shipping something from NY to montreal is more expensive then say NY to LA... oh well. canada-canada shipping is cheap enough.

I think people DO put EU in the name of the thread already

HOWEVER

It would be awesome to have a possibility to filter the topics accoring to their name - that is - when the name contains EU, it'll show just those

i believe it can be done... I know it can be set for filtering FT, FS and WTB type stuff

Yeah, some people do seem to put EU or whatever in the thread titles, but not as many as I would often see on other message boards. The filtering option is a really good idea, especially if there was some way of filtering based on location.

I'm afraid it can only sort by the title of the thread :idk:
