8-string bridges?

Hi. I'm working on converting a Bronco body to an 8-string, using a P-bass neck. I've been decent 8-string bridge that isn't absolute rape on the wallet.
I understand the need for 8-saddles. But it seems the few bridges that have 8-saddles are either horribly expensive, or lack any sort of information/reviews on. A great example is this ABM piece I was interested in:

No one seems to have used it before, and I can't find a picture of it mounted anywhere.
I've thought about just compromising and using a 4-saddle bridge, I've seen some of the newer Hagstroms using a bridge similar to this Players piece:

But again, can't find any interesting info on it. No one seems to use it, and most of the pages I find say it's "top-loading" but given the looks of the bottom part of the bridge, it looks string-through to me and most Hagstrom 8-strings are also string through, I thought.
Wilkinson makes a roller 8-string, 4-saddle that looks promising to me, it's a little expensive, but not too out of budget.

I'm just kind of at a loss here. I guess I'd like to know if anyone has had experience with any of these bridges, or if they know if I could possibly order a new 8-string "Tune-o-matic" style set up from a manufacturer such as ESP, Schecter or Ibanez.
