I'm driving down to Chicago with a friend for my spring break and obviously St. Pattie's day. I'm pretty sure I'll be drunk a good 70% of the time there but are there any cool music shops I should check out? I'm on the lookout for a new guitar.

Also what are some good bars we should check out? It's my friends 21st tomorrow so we are trying to make sure he has a good time.

Midwest buy and sell- 6000 w Irving park road. It's a great store that gets a constantly changing inventory of used gear.
Then there's a couple boutique places- Chicago music exchange and make'n music.
