never watched it, heard a lot about it, seems intriguing, but I hear it ends kinda shittily.

Yeah. I think the backlash is because it was so huge, maybe a little overrated, but still a good show. Worth watching.

Yes.

People got upset with the ending but it's because....well....like Battlestar Galactica. The show is cool because of the intrigue. The mystery. Your imagination starts working. At my job, a Lost group would get together weekly to discuss the show and guess to what was really going on. But like in all good horror movies, the suspense wears off once the monster is actually shown. The mystery was cooler. It's like that with relationships, too. People are just too stupid to realize that no ending would have lived up to the amount of intrigue the show generated......all that being said, I liked the endings to both shows.

No. I LOVED that show but it became quite apparent through the last 2 or 3 seasons that the writers had written themselves in waaaaaay too deep. My problem wasn't with the ending as such, but that how they got there over the final few seasons was so unbelievably shit.

I saw a couple of episodes and it was too self-indulgent. "I'ma write with this hand and jerk-off with the other" kind of deal.

I mean you could sit through a couple of episodes to see, but I have a hunch you'll either stop watching, or, if you somehow manage to sit through it, be left wondering why you wasted almost 100 hours of your life.

I'm not sure I can phrase this without sounding like a pretentious douche, but most television shows that get rave reviews and almost universal populist acclaim are usually not the shows that I grow most attached to.

Love the books, haven't watched the show.

Haven't seen lost but I love the Wire. That show lives up to all the hype.

It had made me appreciate the gritty charm of Baltimore plus the writing is excellent. Top notch.

No. Ending was stupid as fuck. Avoid. Seriously. Plus...do you really want to waste that many hours of your life?

Loved the show early on, but by about the fourth series I realised the writers were just making up random shit as they went along.

The ending sucks total balls.
