So, I've been thinking about this for awhile. What would happen if all the pedal builders hung out at the same bar?

and given all of the drama in the pedal building community in general, what do you think would go on?

What types of conversations would take place? Who would get into fights with who? Who would end up going home with whom?

Wild speculation greatly encouraged.

If we got all the ILF/Shark Tank dudes in a room together, magic would happen. I dunno what, but magic.

My total geek mode would turn on and I wouldn't be able to stop talking about different pedals and possible collaborations with other builders!

It's a shame that there is so much hate and unprofessionalism in the pedal building industry. The industry is so small and personal with all these one-man companies and what do they do? They act like children and make more drama than you could find on TV... It really is a shame. You'd expect that everyone would appreciate the work from other manufaturers, because in the end we're all about our little toys and noise makers. Ok, Devi Ever has a big mouth, but that's her personality. But looking at Deville and the guys from CB acting like total douchebags... really a shame!

That Jack Deville picture of that chick with the shotgun and pedal is all you need to know that he's a douche. Guns and music shouldn't intermingle. Either you're killing people or you're making music, but you shouldn't do both. I'm not anti gun, I'm anti gun-and-music. I saw a flyer for some metal band, and they were all posing with guns, so I knew they were garbage. I wish more shitty bands would incorporate guns into their image so I could tell they're shit without having to listen to them.

I was just going to suggest some sort of Portland meltdown, but it looks like that what spurred this whole thing haha.

Subdecay is so not aggro enough to be in that part of town.

i dunno. i like guns and i like musics. they're not mutually exclusive. i don't thing guns are just about killing people either. but whatevahs.

i think most builders i've met or interacted with are really nice and professional yet personable doods and chicadees. there's a few noticeable exceptions of douchebags but.... yah. isn't that with anything ever in the history everything?

i mean-AEN WOULD GIVE PONY RIDES. AEN'S GRRL AND DEVI WOULD GET PLASTERED IN THE CORNER AND EGG SS/BS/DFAS BRIRBI INTO TRYING TO FIT INTO A BACKPACK. THEN DOC SCI AND MISSUS THE DOCTOR SCIENTIST GRRLFRIEND WOULD JUGGLE SAID BACKPACK AND SKULLY IN A DISPLAY OF AWESOME CANADIAN TALENT SHOW SKEEEEEEELZ.

I don't know a lot of other boutique builders....but I would imagine with our guys there would be a lot of drinking involved and that at some point Brian Hamilton would take his pants of, shoot a video, and turn it into a gif that he makes thousands of poor innocent fans hoping for a glimpse at a new pedal open and view.
