A new very straightforward fuzz/drive from Shoe. One knob is Bullshit you say? Well, I did warn you. Also, it's very affordable at $85 shipped to the US/CA (international at additional cost of shipping)
However, have a listen to it here:

Back to back with a germanium buzzaround it sounds remarkably close but is more forgiving and (due to only having a volume knob) much easier to dial in. The two circuits are, however, not similar. The BS is, in fact, not based on anything in particular like most of my pedals. This is a Silicon/Mosfet hybrid fuzz designed to be made with current-production readily available components. Far more stable and reliable than Germanium and also more responsive to playing dynamics, pickup selection, and volume knob settings.
Get your Frippish leads and classic chewy chords with no instability, no batteries, and point to point component connection for unlimited sustainability.
Designed and hand-wired in the USA.

Thanks for the kind words!
You know, I didn't originally plan for it to work well for fusion and prog but after playing that demo yesterday it really works well for that kind of sound.

This is cool but let's talk that tremolo

Oh yeah the trem is pretty awesome. I haven't come up with a name for it or 100% decided on whether or not to produce it with the dual LFO. I suppose that could be an optional feature.

Since shooting this video I have gotten the pedal running quieter as well.

So does the other lfo change the speed or is another rate?

The other LFO is independent of the first and modulates depth over time. So, you have one rate for the main tremolo effect and you can go from basically 0 effect to full depth of effect gradually at a different rate with the other LFO. Or you can kind of set them close to one another and get some odd shapes.

Yep, now it works for me as well. But for a while it was just totally gone from Soundcloud. Maybe server problem?
Rad demo!

...the linked clip says Shoe Robert Fuzz in the Soundcloud, so... is the Robert a refined version developed from the Bullshit circuit? Are they related? Or are the clips just misplaced?
Anyway, Robert sounds really nice to me

Yes, Robert is the more developed version of the BS fuzz (also kind of had to rename it to sell it in some local stores lol. I made a few with this name and then tweaked the circuit very slightly to reduce excess background noise, added an extra control for gain/bass response and also updated the aesthetics.
On the Robert I can also do some extra things like a gain range/voicing toggle. I have also found that you can get a very nice self-oscillation tone out of it by feeding back between two points in the circuit on the Robert so I am cooking up a version that has a momentary footswitch for that kind of like on the Silver Apple but working in a rather different way.
