Yeah I saw Devi share that a few days ago, apparently to have a message sent to someone not on your friends list you have to pay a dollar for it to not go to their "other" messages folder.

i actually paid it
i have 0 friends on facebook
but have an account
to keep in touch with travelin peeps
and people that have forgotten
how to answer the phone
now it bit me in the ass
i think facebook finally jumped the shark
but now they got my debit card nimber
down with the empire?.......maybe

Ohhhhh that makes sense. Yeah, that's annoying then. I read something about how Facebook is testing extreme price points for things like messages now, so hopefully people will not go along with this.

LOL. I saw their stock plummet mid last year. This must be their genius idea to make more money. i guess selling everyones info wasnt enough.
When I had a FB, I rarely talked to anyone. Maybe 10 out of the 200 friends I had. I exchanged e-mail addresses and phone numbers and shut it down. Now the people I never talked to on FB are calling and emailing me. I even had lurkers/stalkers I wasn't friends on FB with email me. Fuck facebook. MySpace is coming back.
