I never make the because I basically lie to myself and won't do them.
That being said.
I want to see my sick pack. God I'm vain, I know, but I'm in really good shape for the first time in my life and have been able to maintain it for 3 years now. Dropped almost 70 lbs, got a rock hard bod (heh rock hard...like my cock), but still got that lil bit of baby fat in the mid section and chest. I know that most of it's my diet. I've been building muscle the last year (yea it takes that fucking long) and put on 25 lbs (mostly muscle), now it's time to cut.
There is no health reason for doing this. I've been overweight most of my life and just want to look good for once you know? Plus I'm in school to be a Personal Trainer, so I need to be able to sell myself, this will help.
I also resolve to get a proper bass instructor. I need to learn some of the essentials I never did. I've been playing bass for around 16 years now, and do not feel like I've made nearly the progression I should have in that amount of time. I have to put in some serious study time and quit noodling around.
Fuck...resolutions...fuck.
I'm doing this shit. On the real.

Next semester, I'm going to aim for a 4.0 average. I haven't applied myself as well as I can in school since I was a kid, and I'm sick of not living up to the expectations of success that I know I'm capable of.
I also intend to become well read. I've been slacking in this department in the last few years, and it's only gotten more and more difficult to overcome, and more and more obvious a thing to be tackled. I've already started on this one with Paradise Lost, which is so impossibly difficult for me to follow, because free form epic poems are just a difficult read for me.
I also want to approach fitness in a serious way, like jwar mentioned. It's been on my "to-do" list for so fucking long, and I always lose my drive too quickly.
Last year, I met my resolutions of getting back into school, doing well, and getting a car.
This year, I'm going to do better.
Edit: Also, music theory. I fucking lost all of my actual knowledge of composition. It's been frustrating as all hell to me, and I full intend to regain that.

Write every day.
Try new foods/cook new things every week.
Do some sort of physical activity every day.
Small goals, but hard enough to keep.

BUT. I'll do it again in the hopes that I'll actually do this shit.
-Start exercising, I'm so lazy and unfit it's pathetic
-Work a bit harder at uni (I only have a semester left so how hard can that be?)
-Write and record more music rather than sitting around thinking "i should really write and record more music"

srsly, I'm already on the starvation diet, and I'm gonna try to cut back even more superfluous stuff like...soda? I have very little left.

The main things:
-I hope to lose some weight and get in shape.
-Move out with the girlfriend.
-Relearn some theory and teach myself how to write my own solos. I have this thing for smooth bluesy/jazz solos and am going to start there. Sticking to the Blues scale for starters, mainly because I've been listening to so much stoner/doom metal.
-Get new speakers for my Marshall cab and start recording for a solo project.
-Write a bunch of new songs for the band so we can do our split in April and have new material for the tours.

-Start putting a portion of my paycheck into my savings account so that I can actually have some money in there
-Get a Graphic Design job before May
-Get all of the record label stuff I was doing in college finished and out and have a clean slate with it
-Get all of my Dirge builds done and take a nice break from it
-Create an aditional website for freelance design

Find a way to better balance school, work, relationship, music, and taking care of myself. I know I am not an exercise nut but over the last few years since I went back to school I have gotten a little out of shape (I used to be an Iron Worker), so I want to tighten up a bit.
Also, work on my spirtuality, allow it to happen more.
I believe I will be getting married in December so I want to have a sweet ass honeymoon in New Zealand!

- Continue to learn about myself / consistantly write and reflect / effectively work through irrational thoughts / etc.
- Become more self-sufficient monetarily / move out of my parent's place / find a second job / etc.
Not really just for the new year, but some goals I have in mind.
