just got off the phone after calling a dude for a possible amp sale
lady: "he's not home now, can I take a message"
me: "jon emailed me about a gutiar amp on craigslist, can you have him reach me at ***-***-****" or i'll just email him.
her: "how much were you asking and how negotiable was your price"
me: "It was 1500 and I'd rather just negotiate in person, I just listed it and it's too soon to decide over the phone how flexible I am"
her: "well that's WAYY too much money for my husband to spend. he's not allowed to spend that much money. I'm not even going to give him the message"
me: "oh, ok then."
her: "don't even email him ok. ok bye." *click*
that's a first.

My friend has had to help Craigslist people hide gear from their wives a few times...dropping pedals off in the mailbox, hauling an amp and cab into a garage and covering it up...
