I'm pissed off at my current band, and the lack of seriousness. I live in Grand Rapids and I wanna start a band! A few members here saw/heard me perform, so I may or may not totally suck, but I can play guitar and I sing/write lyrics etc.
I just want to make some music and have fun, I'm sick of "bands" that never want to do anything. Music is awesome, I love fuzz, and I want to make musics with it.
Also, I live in a loft. We likely can't practice there unless it's just playing unamplified.

Bumping this as my current band is pretty much a stalemate. I need a bass player and a drummer. Guitars and keys are welcome too. I've got material written.

Well, my bassist got into a pretty bad car accident so I really am scrambling. I've got a show booked at the pike room December 1st!

I miss West Michigan. I actually recruited two guys and we played a TON this summer at the bars and at houses. The drummer left and the bass player is in limbo, but likely not playing due to the car accident.
