Can anyone point me to a shorter scale Strat conversion neck?

24.75" can be had from a few manufacturers, but what about 24" or 22.7" scale necks?
Are there any 24" Fender or Squier necks that works as a conversion necks?

I think the recent Squier CV Duo Sonic has a conversion neck for it's 24" scale that should convert a 25.5" scale guitar.

I actually had a CV Duo Sonic here and tried the neck...it's darn close!

Here's the CV Duo Sonic neck on my 25.5" Fender, measuring from the saddles (set for 25.5" scale) to nut:


The saddles would run into the trem mounting screws (and I think right off the bridge plate) if adjusted to 24" scale.
But I think the CV Duo Sonic neck would work on certain hard-tail 25.5" Fenders. Depending on the size of the bridge plate and if you get/have longer intonation screws.

Nut to 1st fret on a 25.5 is 1 7/16th" so a 24" "should" be intonatible as long as the necks have the some fret count.. that is the kicker with this stuff... you have to take into account not only the scale but the fret count on all the necks... that is how you fudge this stuff to work

I think the Duo RI from the 90s does this. I know I put a 25.5 on it and it was fine so I assume it'd work like this on a strat.

You dumb ass! don't you mean it need one less fret to make up for the "cutting it off at the 1st fret?"

Oh right! yeah if the truss ajuster is at the head you can totally chop the end of the neck to make it fit... or more the bridge.. but then you're a wimp...

The Fender Duo RI from the 90s (which I have! ) is 22.7"...didn't realize it'd work on 25.5". I'd love to get a hold of another neck from one of those!
But I'd settle for a 24" inch scale.
And if all else fails, I'll settle for a 24.75" conversion.

The problem is, the 22.7" scale has ruined guitars for me forever. Even my 25" scale / 1.7" wide nut neck on my other guitar now seems like a vast expanse of wood!

I took a quick look, and I don't think that's gonna happen. They've got the quirk, but it looks like they've also got the suck. I saw one on eBay, not modded, where the low and high E strings were at least 1/4" away from the pickup poles.

I did find someone in FL selling a great condition 90s Reissue Duo Sonic for $200 OBO...but he wont ship it, only local pickup. I'm broke anyway, so it works out well. ...I kind of want to hoard a couple Duo Sonic necks.
