Are all your pedals as good as Speaker Cranker?

I ask because I have some great fuzz pedals but they all cut my tone. Only Speaker Cranker leaves the whole signal. When I switch back to it I breath a sign of relief.

What about Dirt Transmitter specifically - does it leave my original tone? I know there's a tone knob but that's the next pedal I want.

(I wish you guys would make me an offer on one that maybe has a bad paint job or something. If so PM me here.)

dirt transmitter is capable of a variety of tones, huge range of sounds in it...it's a great ripping fuzz, and stacks well.
there's a gorgeous early one up in b/s/t for a steal...

It's a fuzz facey kind of sound
Certainly wont hear your original signal a whole lot
But that's not a bad thing
Lots of volume on tap
The tone and bias are highly interactive
And it sits beautifully in a band setting.

It's awesome get it
I fucking love mine

it sounds more fuzzy than any other pedals I have assayed
if there's a fuzzier fuzz which doesn't sound like shit I want to know about it

I've played quite a few EQD pedals and haven't been disappointed yet. The Dirt Transmitter is so fucking good it's insane.

I'm kinda confused

Not entirely sure what you mean by the fuzz cutting your tone
But I was always under the impression that fuzz pedals were meant to mangle your sound a bit

I don't have the words but some boxes when I kick it on my tone changes. With my Pharaoh there's a misty midrange. In most of them on open chords there's a wall of white noise which isn't dynamic or harmonic.

Not every EQD has worked with what I do, but, they've all been pretty amazing at what they do. I'll second what everyone else has said about the DT; I don't have one on my board but my other guitar player does and loves it.

I think a Dream Crusher might be what you are looking for. It will probably color your tone less than others, but I have to agree with Casavettes that fuzz is an unruly, tone-shaping beast.

It's all good. I bought the Dirt Transmitter after listening to YT vids of all the fuzzez. I got it from Prymaxe for 123 dollars shipping gratis with their fifteen % coupon. It's the last thing I can buy for myself for awhile. I get it today. I can't wait.

This thread has gotten me interested in the DT. It definitely has some little extra "dirt sprinkles" that give it an individual character compared to the other EQD fuzzes (I have the DC and SC. Both are rocking :thumb:)

Most stomp boxes will change you tone, that is kinda the point. Maybe you are looking for that elusive clean boost or overdrive sound. As far as earthquaker goes the dirt transmitter is the one of the darker heavier tones second only to the Hoof. Maybe a lighter fuzz like dream crusher would be appealing to your tastes. Personally, the dirt transmitter was a good choice for me because it is very responsive to your playing and attack and the bias knob gives lots of tonal options.
